In group, we prepare salt dough with the children, making them knead together and this is seen by many of them, curiosity and new sensations of touch. Once it is prepared they are engaged in “knowledge” of this new element and thereafter they gradually begin to give various forms which then culminate in the final chore.
With some children, that suffer from particular communication difficulties, we also used the plastic sheets that allow a different expression from the usual. By means of these games it has been possible to reach an understanding and a relationship where it was prior to that time, much more difficult and we have been able to tune in without using verbal Language.
